It really depends on which animals you’re talking about. Herbivorous animals aren’t designed to ingest or breakdown meat, so they certainly wouldn’t get the same level of protein from meat as we would.
It also depends on the type of meat – for example, large carnivorous mammals (e.g. a tiger) have adaptations for eating raw meat, such as an adapted premolar tooth called a “carnassial” – these are designed for shearing and cutting through meat, which we can’t do to the same extent. This allows them to better digest raw meat, whereas we would struggle to do this.
