• Question: if everyone came to the north of the earth and jumped would there earth move?

      The short answer – nothing. The earth itself still outweighs us by a factor of over 10 trillion, so us jumping wouldn’t really make any difference.

      When everyone jumped up, it would push the earth in the opposite direction, then the earth and people would fall towards each other through gravity. But as Alex says we are tine, so the distance the earth moves is teeny
