Be inquisitive! Curious about something? Look it up! Ask questions (like you have done here). Don’t be afraid to question something, or to take time to better understand something yourself – you don’t always have to accept someone else’s explanation of something, particularly if it doesn’t make sense to you. Science is equal parts learning and understanding – if you don’t understand something, that’s fine! Just go and read books, ask questions, think about things and work at it until you do understand it!

Don’t ever feel defeated because you don’t immediately “get” how something works.

I will encourage you to be an original. If you want to find a cure for a disease for example, please look at what others have done before you start, this will ensure that you are not going to repeat the same experiment or mistakes. You have to choose your own unique technique, maybe a different dosage to what was used in the past so as to prevent been a duplicate scientist.
Our learning teaches us about great scientists but today many people are not wanting to take risks. The Issac Newton, Alexandra Fleming e.t.c were known for specific discoveries.
Be specific, unique and confident in your discovery
