      I chose to take part after a friend told me of a friend of hers who took part in the last I’m a scientist. I love sharing my enthusiasm for what I do and it seemed like a great idea.

      Someone in my department at university did it a couple of years ago and said it was really rewarding, so I applied and was fortunate enough to be picked 🙂

      I wanted to show school pupils that there are many careers and routes into science, and promote the role that technicians play in scientific discovery
