I always get excited when I discover something new. This means that I have to tell other scientists about it by presenting the discovery at a Departmental Seminar or an International Conference or better still publishing the work in a popular journal so everyone can read it. What can be more exciting than this? At least I get to smile when I know that healthcare will be at it`s best soon due to the discovery of we scientist.

I always get pretty excited when I learn something cool and new, but if its me thats finding it, then that is an incredible feeling. At cutting-edge science, if you’re discovering things, then it is quite likely that you are quite literally the only person in the world who knows whatever you’ve just discovered. OK, so not everyone in the world is going to care and/or be interested, but still, that is pretty special.
