I found a few things really helpful when revising:

      – Writing out things in text books in my own words, in a way that helped me understand them.

      – Practising questions that I thought would come up in exams.

      – Drawing diagrams (often colourful) to help me remember things.

      – Getting people to ask me questions and test me, so I could see what I needed to work more on.

I love singing difficult things to remember. But mostly I stay up between 11pm to 2am when the place is quiet. That way I get to grasp things faster.

Do a bit and rest. I still fall asleep reading papers, because they are so dull. Tip to myself – stop being dull?

Revising is difficult. It is important to take breaks, and keep hydrated, and eat well.
I found example questions really useful to understand the type of answer expected.
I also re write my notes in short form to take with me, so if I get a spare 30 minutes I can take a look.
      Give yourself plenty of time.
Revising in a group can work, if you can stay focussed. questionning each other and helping out as you will all have different ways of remembering facts, and different areas of strength.
