This is where science meets philosophy, theology, and a few other disciplines that try to come up with a sensible answer to a very old question. As humans, we tend to explore “how” life exists, as opposed to why. Some reasons for life existing might be to achieve perfection as a species, to love and experience emotions, and to live as a “good person”. It’s a difficult question to provide a short and widely accepted answer to.
